| I was a little leary of getting a remanufactured item, however it was in perfect condition and looked and functioned like brand new. I love this kettle. It looks nice on the counter and is easy to use. I'd rather my kids use the electric kettle when making cup of soup or other food items that require boiling water when i'm not around instead of using the stove. I will be purchasing more remanufactured products from now on. Why pay full price?! |
Very sleek, good value for money

| I was a bit hesitant at buying 'remanufactured' but my innate cheapness won out. There is a lovely, high-end kettle that looks sleek in any kitchen. It functions extremely well and my sister-in-law is now a convert to kettles in general. I bought it for tea, but it's great for heating up water for cooking to cut stove-top time (which is good in summer). This has sold me on remanufactured items in general. |

| I bought two of this because of the price. I tested them out before I put them away. First, they looked new and no scratch or finger prints and well packed. Second, it boiled water pretty fast and turned itself off as it should. The power cord hides well at the base. |
Quick and efficent.

| I love being able to boil 2 cups of water in 1 1/2 minutes without heating up the stove. Totally energy efficient. |
Electric Kettle

This an especially good looking electric kettle. It comes off the heating element and can go to the table.
In addition, it is very well crafted. The electric heating element is not in the water. It is sealed within the base of the pot. Therefore no lead that may be used in soldering the element can be leached into the water.
Sincerely,
Charlotte |

| Great re-manufactured kettle, great price and superfast boiling. One very, very minor niggle... it's so quiet you can't hear when it's finished boiling. BUY IT. |

I am sorry to read the one review of the kettle that must have been defective.
I have had mine for several years now and it has always worked very well, shutting off when it is supposed to, that is when the water reaches the boiling point.
I love my Cuisinart electric kettle. It is very powerful and heats up the water very fast. The auto-shut off feature is fantastic for me. I cannot tell you how many conventional kettles I wrecked by forgetting they were heating up, or even not hearing their whistles.
I love that it is stainless steel, a material that I trust to heat up without toxic effects, as opposed to all those plastic kettles out there.
Finally, it is quite easy to clean.
The only minus maybe, would be that it gets quite hot to the touch when heating up, so you have to be careful not to touch the metal part at that time to not get burned.
Overall an excellent product that I highly recommend. |

| One of our most used appliances! Typically boil 3 - 6 pots every day, and after a year of use works SO well! I highly recommend this product! |

Very fast and easy to use, and especially beautiful looking !
This is my second one, I loved it very much from my first purchase, so I bought it again this one from many choices.
To me, Brushed Stainless Steel is very appearing since most of them are not.

Died shortly after a year

Starts leaking very little water after a year of use. Shortly after it refused to power on.. We took the whole thing apart and found the issue. Basically everything in the pot was okay, but the conductive base plate overheated; the tiny contact deformed and can't reach the center pin and therefore won't power on.
Other than that, a great little device! |
worked great but it DID break

| Like the other guy but ours worked for a while and when it did it was the best...hot water in seconds. But the light just started to go off after about ten seconds....we could jimmy the lever and get it to stay on for a second but it finally stays off..must have a short in it...BUMMER |
keep away from cuisinart

| this is a horrible kettle bec it breaks down on you in 1 mos. I have had 3 of them and they all broke down, 1 mos, 2 mos or a couple of weeks after being opened up the box. I have not used the remanufactured version, but i would suggest to keep away at all cost. I m very disappointed plus cuisinart customer service is very rude. I was very disappointed. |
Broke after 4 months

| I would not recommend this kettle as it died after 4 months. I would hesitate to buy anymore refurb electrical appliances. It's a crapshoot and as you can see, it has only a 90 day warranty. After 90 days, you're out of luck. Buy a NEW kettle! |
Avoid Cuisinart - defective products

| We bought a Cuisinart CJK-17BC Cordless Kettle, CPT-160BCH Toaster and a CRC-800 Rice Cooker. The Kettle had to be replaced three times, toaster twice and rice cooker once within 1.5 years. We just gave up on Cuisinart, not worth the time, effort and money spent on postage sending items back and waiting weeks without a replacement. |

| I bought this for my girlfriend and after two months of use the on/off lever will not stay on. It is supposed to shut off automatically when the water boils, but the lever turns off right after you turn it to on. I'm not happy at all as this was an expensive tea-kettle. |
