This electric kettle heats up to 1.7 liters of water for coffee, tea, or instant soup without requiring the use of a stove. The round plastic base plugs into any standard outlet and gets water boiling in no time with its 1,500 watts of power. When water has boiled, a safety mechanism turns the unit off and prevents the kettle from boiling dry.
